Community rules

"Local tips" is a guide made by people from the villages for people from the villages. It works if what is posted is useful and true. These are the rules:

What to post

• Practical information about that fiesta: times, changes, cancellations, access, parking.
• Things you know first-hand or from a reliable source (the town hall, the organisers).
• Short and to the point: 280 characters maximum.

What not to post

• Insults, harassment, or messages against anyone because of who they are.
• Personal data, yours or anyone else's: phone numbers, emails, addresses.
• Advertising, links to sell things or spam.
• Things you know are false.
• Bullfighting events: bullfights, bull runs, toro de cuerda or capeas. Cartelera Serranía does not list bullfighting, neither in tips nor in submitted events.

How it is moderated

• You need an account to post, vote or report. Only your alias is shown; your email or phone number is never published.
• Each person can post up to 10 tips a day.
• The tips that more people mark as useful rise to the top. You cannot vote for your own.
• When 3 different people report a tip, it is hidden until we review it. We may restore it or remove it for good.
• We can remove tips and close accounts that break these rules.

Your account

You can delete your account at any time from any fiesta page. How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy. You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
